Two weeks out from Thanksgiving, and the season’s real intensity is starting to show in seller conversation.

Ad scam alert confirmed circulating

Following Friday’s warning about fake Promoted Listings upgrade offers, we heard from several additional sellers this week describing similar attempts, including at least one report of a message appearing to come from a genuinely compromised account. Worth continued vigilance, and worth checking your own account security settings if you haven’t recently.

Order volume climbing steadily, not yet at peak

Sellers describe this week as noticeably busier than October’s post-Halloween lull, but not yet at the intensity expected for the Thanksgiving weekend itself. A reasonable, gradual ramp so far, consistent with typical seasonal patterns.

Digital product sellers gearing up for Cyber Monday specifically

Following Saturday’s piece on Cyber Monday’s digital-product-friendly search behavior, a few sellers in printables and digital downloads mentioned adjusting their Cyber Monday-specific promotion to lead more explicitly with instant delivery, directly applying the guidance.

Message template adoption seems to be helping

A handful of sellers specifically credited having holiday message templates ready (following our piece earlier this week) with keeping their response times steady even as message volume climbs, a small but real confirmation that preparation is paying off this season.

What we’re watching

The final two-week run-up to Thanksgiving weekend, and whether order volume continues its gradual climb or starts to spike more sharply as the holiday approaches.

Back next Sunday.
