Following our pieces this week on homepage refreshes and fall keyword patterns, several sellers reported already seeing early traction on newly published fall and Halloween-adjacent listings, consistent with the early-search-volume pattern we flagged. Encouraging early sign for anyone who moved quickly.
Tariff pricing questions still the top mailbag theme
Friday’s piece on pricing for international buyers after the tariff changes generated more reader questions than almost anything we’ve run recently, suggesting a lot of sellers are still actively working through their own answer to this rather than having settled on an approach.
A useful data point on Q4 staffing
A few larger shops mentioned in forum discussion this week that they’ve already brought on seasonal help for the fall, earlier than they normally would, citing this year’s sourcing uncertainty as a reason to lock in extra capacity while they still have calm runway to train someone properly.
Quieter Creativity Standards month continues
Consistent with what we noted at the end of August, mailbag volume on this topic remains much lower than the summer peak. We’re not declaring the issue resolved, but the intensity has clearly cooled.
